Theme Week: Obton School π‘π
At Obton, we have two theme weeks a year. In week 46, the theme was "Obton School", where focus was to get to know each other and the organization better.
Our company has grown tremendously over the past few years, and we are currently +300 employees in offices in 10 different countries. This has triggered an internal need to get to know each other better and, not least, get to know each other's competencies, so that we ensure the best possible collaboration across departments, cultures and countries.
We started the school week by recieving a school schedule with different subjects and assignments. Among other things, each department had to fill out a "blue book presentation" about itself, which will subsequently be shared with everyone.
Obton School Kiosk opened each day offering the good old classic snacks, such as cheese haps, Knoppers, fig sticks and raisin packets. And during recess there were schoolyard activities with hula hoops and jump rope.
The theme week ended with a competition to make the longest garland, and on Friday afternoon/evening there was a school party (in the form of this year's Christmas lunch).
At the office in Milan, all the employees were on a trip to a nearby solar park to get a lesson in solar cell technology.
Thank you all for contributing to a terrific theme week πͺπΌβππ
