The newly built Nicolinehus will become Obton's new base once the building at Aarhus Ø is completed in late 2022. The move is part of an ambitious growth plan.

An ultra-modern office landscape with views over the water and the buzzing harbour will be the new headquarters for Obton.

"We have high ambitions and expect rapid growth over the coming years, which is why we need more space. We found what we were looking for in Nicolinehus at Aarhus Ø, which is under construction and is expected to be completed for us to move in at the start of 2023," says Anders Marcus, co-founder and CEO of Obton.

At Nicolinehus, the office space will be almost tripled to 6,000 m2, so there is ample room for the growing number of employees.

The essential raw materials

Looking forward to moving day, the expectation is to hire an additional 100 new employees, who will help to implement the growth plans at Obton.

Nicolinehus will be located between Havnebadet and Aarhus Marina and besides Obton, will also house apartments, restaurants, fitness and shopping facilities, a central market hall and a large car park with 450 parking spaces in the basement.
