By mid-September, almost 300 Obton employees gathered in Cork, southern Ireland 🍀💚

For many it was their first Kick-off trip, and it was an important one as these trips help create unity and good colleagueship between new and "old" employees.

The first part of the trip was spent on professional presentations, group work and an inspiring and entertaining lecture by "motivational speaker" Manuel Knight. There was both laughter and dancing along the way.

The rest of the trip, the beautiful surroundings were taken full advantage of. A wide variety of activities were organized, such as sightseeing in Cork and on the prison island of Spike Island, whiskey tasting, golf, hiking and biking, kayaking, stand up paddle and cliff jumping.

During the trip we had three different dinner venues. Irish specialties in the hotel's own golf clubhouse, a long table in the pedestrian zone with subsequent pub visits and finally a closing dinner in Cork's fantastic City Hall. At the closing dinner, the theme was green – and all participants had to wear something green.
