How did you become part of Obton?
I wasn't actually looking for a job, but was introduced to, at that time, Obton's CIO, through one of my former colleagues. He sold both himself and Obton really well and had me convinced.
You only get chances like that a couple of times in your life, so I had to try it – and I've never regretted it.
Why do you still work for Obton today?
In short: Because I have the world's coolest job.
Obton is a growth company, where the sky is the limit and where it's cool to come in to work. I'm surrounded by so many exciting people, both internally and externally.
As Investment Director I also help to make many exciting decisions, and I love to develop and perform together with my staff. I'm also very competitive and love to take the lead, which suits Obton's culture perfectly.
What are you especially happy about in your job?
I meet many exciting people and generate good relations through my numerous customer visits. I really care for my customers, and I do my best to ensure lucrative, healthy business for both them and Obton. My daily work is very varied, and new challenges pop up all the time, which is very motivating.
What is your special focus in your job?
As Investment Director I have been given staff responsibility that I take very seriously. I know that my biggest asset is my employees. Which is why I'm focused on ensuring that they are happy and satisfied.
What's the best thing about Obton as a workplace?
It's definitely the large level of trust given to the employees. Here, 'freedom with responsibility' applies, and we create big results and grow – together.
