"I have been given the opportunity to follow my professional interests and transfer to a new department, new function and new (internally) company"

Specialist, Project Manager, IT & Digitalization
Worked at Obton since September 2016
What is your job function in the company?
I am project manager in the IT department, where I work with managing the implementation of new IT solutions.
Why did you choose to become a part of the Group?
I was originally hired as a communications assistant in Koncenton. Here, it was a big plus for me that I had good, fun communications professionals as my colleagues and a great deal of freedom in my work.
Why do you still work for Obton today?
I have been given the opportunity to follow my professional interests and transfer to a new department, new function and new (internally) company. Naturally, this means that I feel validated and valued as an employee, and that I have been given a wealth of new challenges and development opportunities. And then it's so nice to be part of an informal and positive company culture, where there's no big gap from the upper levels to the bottom, and where an idea can become a specific project in a very short amount of time.
What are you especially happy about in your job?
I have a broad contact area in the organization, and I enjoy cooperating with the various professional groups. It's also extremely satisfying to help run projects that make such a big difference for both our own users and for the investors.
What is your special focus in your job?
I have particular focus on ensuring momentum in projects and making sure they are implemented in the best possible way throughout the organization. If I can also optimize some of the work procedures and processes slightly, then I do that as well.
What's the best thing about the Obton Group as a workplace?
My colleagues and a positive, open-horizons working environment.
