In Obton we see great value in working at the office as knowledge sharing is easier through social and physical interaction. We believe meeting face-to-face has a positive impact on collaboration. Furthermore it contributes to maintaining a strong culture. In a fast growing organization we see it as a necessity that everyone has a strong attachment to the culture which is achieved best by being present at the office.
That said we also believe that a flexible workplace meets both the needs of the employee and the employer as we acknowledge that our employees can be much more productive on their own schedule rather than the traditional 9-5. We want to treat our employees as individuals and accomodate to their personal needs and styles.
Working from home
We offer our employees one day per week where they can work from home. Because, let's be real, no matter where you're working from, you're still doing just that: working. Also, working from home equals an opportunity to sit undisturbed and immerse yourself into your tasks. Therefore, the main goal of working from home is flexibility and giving you the space to concentrate and boost productivity.

In a fast growing organisation it is important to have a close dialogue with your manager. We help facilitate this through quartely appraisals and 1:1's. It is crucial for us to prioritize the well-being and development of our employees.

We appreciate spending time together beyond work. With social events as a yearly Kick-off trip, summer festival, theme weeks, student network, Friday bar, staff association, spinning class, running club etc. we offer our employees plenty of opportunities to socialize with each other. On our common intranet platform we also give employees opportunity to share infromation and keep updated about new colleagues, lunch, future social gatherings, events and much more.

We want to help you provide safety for you and your family. Therefore, every Obton employee is a part of an employer-administered pension scheme from PFA. The total pension contribution is 12% of the base salary. The employees share is 4% (or more) and the company's share is 8%.
Together we make sure that you build a decent saving when you retire from work. Besides saving for retirement the agreement with PFA includes insurances as; health Insurance, Critical illness, loss of earning capacity and life insurance.

We invest in the health of our employees. Both in and out of the office. This includes creating a healthy work environment as well as investing in your mental and physical health.
We offer subscription to the local gym or perhaps you'd llike to attend our weekly Obton spinningclass. Obton also participates in an annual relay race, which combines exercise with peer interaction.

Oton's employees can become co-owners of the company through our employee share program. More than 200 employees have chosen to do this since we launched the share program in 2018 and benefited from it.
The employee share program provides an incentive for our employees to go that extra mile for a good result as it both benefits the whole company and themselves in the end. With this program we own the company's success together.

Our main goal is to provide our new colleagues with a world class onboarding-process covering pre-onboarding, program for the first couple of weeks and - last but not least - Obton Camp giving you an in-depth introduction to Obton.
Obton Camp
As a new employee we make sure to give you a thorough introduction to our strategy, values and culture at our Obton Camp (don't worry it's got nothing to do with tents, sleeping pads and bunfires..). But there will be plenty of opportunity to learn more about your new workplace as well as socializing and networking with other new colleagues.
